Peeps
Just a quick one to let you know that I'm having connectivity issues in Libya.
While I'm overseas I have barred incoming calls but allow incoming/outgoing texts. However I'm not getting any coverage in this country so if you've got to get in touch with me please send an email to my yahoo (skye_wilson@yahoo.com) or, even better, leave a message on this blog.
I won't be able to get alot of access to internet so posts will be irregular but suggest you subsribe to the blog to get updates as and when they happen. It's easy - just click on the subscribe button in the right hand column.
Unfortunately it is unlikely, for this trip at least, that I will be able to send out promised juicy emails to my list because:
a) it's unlikely that anything juicy will happen on this trip (well, apart from the three proposals I received on day 1 but it's really dried up since then), and
b) it's likely I'll have the same connectivity issues in Algeria too.
Quick update on Libya - visited Tobruk yesterday after crossing the border from Egypt and have visited the ancient greek and roman ruins of Apollonia and Cyrenne. Tomorrow we head to Benghazi which is apparently a hole. Armed guard with us for the entire time we're here but feel pretty safe (but I would say that with Mum & Dad reading!) Libya posts coming shorty, insha'Allah.
Got to get some shut eye before the call to prayer wakes me up at 4am.
Love Skye x
PS. Make sure you check out the Egypt post I just published.
